The Whitney Benefit Auction

Copied and pasted directly from Kerry Blair's posts at Six LDS Writers and a Frog:

Don't miss the Whitney Benefit Auction, going on now! They have dozens of great gifts, all up for auction or buy-it-now purchase. New items are added every single day, so check back often!

We’ve got incredible stuff: Autographed books and gifts, valuable editing packages going for a song, designer clothing, home decorating accents, silk ties, massages, handcrafted note cards, food items, fine art, gorgeous jewelry, book publishing packages, children’s clothing, a family photo shoot, and much, much, much, much more. (We have, in fact, several things you can't buy anywhere else.)

If you haven’t seen the site lately, you haven’t seen it at all. Several auctions are ending very soon, so I put up more than a dozen new items and services yesterday. I’m putting up a dozen more today—including my own packages of baseball tickets, Hopi jewelry, prickly pear jelly, and an Official Nightshade Ghost-Hunting Kit. (Just where else do you think you’re going to find that?)

Thanks so much, Nancy! We have a whole week left with lots of great new items like gourment popcorn, jewelry, gift sets . . . and YOUR BOOK! :) (But I'm willing to engage in a bidding war for that -- just so the rest of you know.)

You're so welcome, Kerry! That auction is just the coolest thing ever. And Angela Eschler had little notices for the auction at our signing today in the Redwood Seagull. It's fun to see everyone all abuzz about it!

I just wanted to leave a comment and tell you how much I enjoy your books! I have read all of them, and own the Faith of our Father's series. I just finished Isabelle Webb: Legend of the Jewel and absolutely loved it! I am excited to read the next one!! You are an amazing writer! Keep up the good work!:)

Chan, I can't even begin to tell you how much you've just made my day. Thank you so much for taking the time to tell me this! Bless you! I'm a little under the weather today and having a pity party, so this is just what I needed.

I'm working on the next Isabelle book and really enjoying it. She's a fun character and I absolutely love Egypt, which is where they are now.

Again, thank you so much!!

I really need to read one of your books. Have you read any other good books lately. I always love your suggestions.

Hey Nicole!

Hmm. Let's see...I've been reading some nonfiction lately. Have you read Jeanette Walls's The Glass Castle? It's crazy. And good. Crazy good.

For December, my book club is going to read Eat, Pray, Love. Have you read that one? I've heard good things about it.

Please oh please put up an OFF button for the music. Everytime I come here I have to turn off my own music or hit the mute button. Sorry. I'm such a pain.

Ok, Mr. Grumpy Doesn't Like My Music...you'll be amazed at how easy it is to fix this. I do it all the time at other people's blogs.

Just scroll down to the very bottom of this blog where the media player thingie is and hit the stop button. Looks like a big, red stereo. Easy Peasy.

I do understand your frustration- took me a while to figure it out on other people's blogs before I got my own player. I should post this on your site too, so you'll see it and come back to mine. :-)

I never left. Just wondering what the heck happened to the great author. We thought you'd jumped. It would make a great car insurance commercial? Very messy.

And what is this Easy Peasy? Where did that come from. I know. Its a secret code word for the Jewel your characters are hunting. Isn't it? Easy Peasy, open says measy! Something like that, right?

Welcome back to the world of the living. And keep your germs away from my computer.
